"The Oasis" Giclee print by Dana Forrester

"The Oasis" is my first ZR1 subject, and I felt it needed a unique background to show it off. After much research, I decided to park a diner behind it. The style of the diner is vintage, and I've named the diner something tropical: "The Oasis." Anywhere I travel I keep an eye out for original diners that are still open, then try to sample some of their food as part of the travel experience. I had taken a photo of this diner somewhere, closed with the signage removed, but I found another diner with a neon sign on the roof and a neon palm tree.
